Küçüksu Pavilion

Commissioned by Sultan Abdülmecit to architect Nikogos Balyan, this palace on the shores of the Bosphorus was used by Ottoman sultans for short stays during excursions and hunting, and also as a state guesthouse in the early Republican Period. An unmatched museum of art with its plaster moulding, hand-painted ceiling decoration, Italian marble fireplaces, hardwood floors featuring distinctive figüre.
